Find your rhythm while exploring the mystery and joy of rhyme. Learn with SAS Resident and spoken word artist/musician Callahan Connor. Using both written and spoken word mediums students will examine both classic and contemporary examine the nature of rhythm while working with the musical punctuation of rhyme.

 

Using loop pedals and other stress-free supportive performance methods each student will be guided without pressure to find their own personal beat and cadence. Creating poetry that will be seen and heard this workshop will challenge ideas about art and culture and provide a supportive forum for all students to develop voice.
