In collaboration with Museums and Heritage Mississauga, join SAS Residents to meet the women who worked at the Small Arms Inspection Building. Use primary sources while participating in 7 workshops. Explore our WWII Heritage space. Geocache, learn about Bombs, Bullets and Bomb Girls. Learn the Shim Sham while considering the role of social dance in times of conflict. Consider war propaganda as an art form and discover the art of letter writing as a historical record and a means of connection.  A full day immersion examining WWII through the lives of the Canadian women who were part of the war effort.
