About the Role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and management of the day-to-day operations of the Festival Food & Beverage Servery, operating Dec 2-4 and 6-11.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Festival Food & Beverage Servery, operating Dec 2-4 and 6-11;

  • Set up and maintain the refreshments table in the Volunteer/Artist Lounge throughout the duration of the festival, from Nov 28-Dec 12;

  • Arrange for the pick up and/or purchase of all food, beverages, and supplies for both the Servery and Volunteer/Artist Lounge area (some driving will be necessary);

  • Supporting the CreativeHub 1352 Volunteer Director in the support of onsite volunteers assigned to the Servery area, including relevant training on safe food handling and cash/square transactions;

  • Prepare post event summary report of Food & Beverage sales, and reconcile both the cash float and Square transactions daily;

  • Attending virtual/in-person MFT Market Committee meetings, events, and activities as required;

  • Other areas to which the Parties agree. 

Requirements

Ability to work proactively with staff, board of directors and committees. Ability to work independently, in-person and from home following the organization’s Work from Home Policy. Some evening and weekend work is required to support the organization’s programs.
