Late Ward 1 Councillor Jim Tovey was an extraordinary man, a visionary leader whose contagious enthusiasm made us dream bigger and work harder to create a livable, sustainable vibrant community.
His legacy will live on through the growth and revitalization of the waterfront, Port Credit and the Lakeview lands. He was pivotal in the initiative to rescue the historical WWll Small Arms Building from demolition and it’s re adaptaion into a vital community hub.
