About the event
The Cedar Tea Circle is an Indigenous community and educational gathering centered around brewing and sharing cedar tea, made from the boughs or leaves of the sacred cedar tree, while engaging in storytelling, connection, and traditional healing practices.
Come join the circle, where we'll brew and share tea, learn about cultural teachings, and immerse in a reflective space with facilitator Carissa who will hold space and share cedar teachings. Keep the mug and a receive a jar of tea to enjoy at home.
Being grounded and aligned can encourage love, calmness and compassion in difficult situations you are navigating. Many are being introduced to Indigenous sacred medicines in person without documentation online, honouring traditional oral teachings. New relationships to plants and deeper connections are created for those involved.
