About the event

Come and get creative with a fun and supportive group of crafters! Join CreativeHub 1352 for a series of community weaving sessions where you’ll create a small 3" × 3" weaving, known as a mug rug (or coaster), to take home after the Mississauga Festival of Trees.

Each weaving will become part of a collaborative artwork: a tree decorated with colourful creations made by our community. The finished tree will be on display at the Mississauga Festival of Trees from December 4–13.

No experience is necessary! We’ll demonstrate simple weaving techniques, and all materials are provided. Come enjoy some creative time, contribute to a community artwork, and make a handmade keepsake of your own.

Everyone is welcome, and you can attend as many sessions as you like! Please RSVP using the form below.
