About the event

In this beginner-friendly crochet class, you'll be guided through holding your hook, forming foundational stitches, and working in the round. By the end, you’ll complete a delicate snowflake to hang or gift, along with the confidence to continue exploring crochet on your own. A cozy, creative way to start your crochet journey!


All materials are provided and included in the workshop cost.


Age Range: Adults and youth 12+, youth under 16 to be accompanied by an adult

Rosa Wharton


Rosa Wharton is a Caribbean mixed-media textile artist and environmental scientist. Originally from the island of Barbados, textile and fashion design have always been her passion. As an artist, her work speaks to the vision that there is unity in diversity. She integrates this into her work by combining vibrant colours, expressive textures, sustainable practices, traditional techniques and contemporary practices.
