About the event
Combining energy and imagination, participants aged 6-11 years explore a whole world of physical expression. Celebrate, explore, and express yourself as you discover the essential tools of physical theatre. The program introduces learners to the different facets of physical theatre, including movement technique, creating environment, and observation work. Participants get creative with their bodies exploring lightness on their feet, space, control and shape.
Participants should come in clothing suited for movement activities. Each day is geared toward beginner learning and you have a choice to participate in one or both of the offerings.
This workshop can be taken as a single session or as a two session class.
