Mosaic Shapes

Workshop Description: Curious to try mosaic art? Make a unique ornament to decorate your patio! This beginner class will offer the opportunity to try mosaic art at a basic level. Focusing on the process, the instructor will guide the group through the steps and materials needed to create tile based art. Choose a shape and pick tiles from a large variety of ceramic and glass materials. A grouting kit will be taken home by each participant in order to complete your mosaic. Sign online for a one hour grouting tutorial with the instructor and work together to complete your mosaic.

Instructor Bio: Elena Martoglio has been working in mosaic art for over a decade. Her work entails the discovery and the collection of durable materials to create mosaic works of art. Over periods of travel and life experiences, Elena has accumulated materials ranging from beach glass and ceramic bits, porcelain figurines, trinkets, jewelry bits, and more.
