About the event
Get into the winter spirit by learning the art of needle felting, a magical craft where you carefully stab wool fluff to make stuff. Spend a fun afternoon with instructor Cathy Disbrow, who will show you how to make this dapper snowman figure wearing a top hat. Participants will learn a variety of needle felting techniques including making a ball shape. Be creative and choose from a variety of wool colours to make your snowy's scarf. Snowman is approx. 5" tall. Your snowman can be an ornament or tabletop decoration.
Materials are included in the price. You get 2 felting needles and wool. Foam felting pads are provided for participants to use during the workshop.
Age Range: Adults and youth 13+, youth under 16 to be accompanied by an adult
