Pastel Nagomi Art is a Japanese art style using soft pastels to create gentle, soothing images. Developed by Hosoya Norikatsu, it involves blending pastel powders with fingers and simple tools, producing a dreamy, harmonious effect. This accessible technique requires no prior experience, making it ideal for beginners and a meditative, therapeutic practice. It’s widely used for greeting cards, bookmarks, wall art, and therapy sessions. In this workshop, participants will create a greeting card while exploring its origins, experiencing its calming effects, and learning basic pastel techniques to create beautiful, mindful artwork.
All materials are included in the cost of the workshop.
