Seed Starting with The Hub
During this one-hour practical workshop learn the basics of seed starting. Participant will use recycled materials to create their seedling stations and leave with with 3-4 planted seeds. This workshop is a Pay-What-You-Can model with a suggested fee of $10/ person.

Seed Starting with The Hub
It’s never too late to learn how to start seeds for your garden beds, pots or indoor windowsill! Learn the basics of indoor seed starting to extend your growing season and save money on buying full-grown plants. During this 60 minute workshop we will discuss environmentally conscious approaches to seed saving by reusing everyday recyclable items (toilet paper rolls, egg cartons) for your seedling starting stations. Participants will also learn how to care for their young seedlings. This is a hands-on workshop, please bring gloves if you would like to keep your hands soil free. Each participant will leave with 3-4 planted seeds ready to become seedlings.
All materials will be provided.
Age range: All ages, children to be accompanied by an adult.
This workshop is a Pay-What-You-Can model with a suggested fee of $10/ person. Each ticket covers one participant.
