About the event

Join us for a beginner-friendly photography workshop that encourages participants to slow down, observe with curiosity, and develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them. Through guided observation exercises and simple photography prompts, participants will explore light, colour, texture, and composition using their smartphone cameras.

Facilitated by artist Aarthi Arunkumar, this workshop will also introduce basic photo editing techniques using Adobe Lightroom Mobile to help participants enhance their images and develop their creative vision.

Whether you're completely new to photography or looking to see your surroundings in a new way, this session offers an accessible and engaging introduction to creative image-making using the device you already carry with you every day.

Participants will need to provide their own smartphone to use during the workshop. Smartphones are not provided. This workshop is open to all levels, however children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
