About the event
Bring along your knitting project and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of making with fellow crafters. Whether you're just getting started, feeling stuck on a pattern, or looking for guidance on a technique, experienced practitioner Rosa will be on hand to answer questions and offer support as you work on your project.
Participants should bring their own materials and works-in-progress. This welcoming session is open to all levels ages 18+.
About the Artist: Rosa Wharton is a mixed media textile artist and environmental scientist originally from Barbados. Textile and fashion design have always been her passion. She moved to Canada in 2017 and later completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Textile Design. Her work explores unity in diversity, combining vibrant colour, expressive textures, sustainable practices, traditional techniques, and contemporary approaches. Rosa is now an educator and facilitator, supporting budding artists and makers across Toronto.
