About the event

Join artist and Feels co-founder Hannah Browne for an evening exploring the world of zines through collage, conversation, and creative making. Zines have a long history in the counterculture, independent publishing, and DIY movements. They’re a wonderful way to create and share art, writing, and feelings.

Learn about the history of zines and DIY publishing, then create your own handmade zine using cut-and-paste techniques, recycled materials, writing, and visual storytelling. This relaxed and welcoming session combines artist talk, hands-on workshop, and creative exploration.

Please note: This workshop will provide basic materials, but we encourage participants to bring other materials from home (such as magazines, newspapers, wrapping paper, flyers, and scrap paper).

This talk and workshop is open to all ages, however children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Artist: Hannah Browne (she/her) is the co-founder and creative director of Feels. She is a magazine professional with over 10 years…
