Sharon McLeod

Director, Secretary

I have been a resident of Mississauga for the majority of my life (Applewood Acres) and moved back to Port Credit in 1996. Growing up in the area I was very familiar with the history of the Small Arms Building and it is so fortunate that the building was not demolished.

I have been an Office Manager and Management Consultant for most of my working life. I decided to retire in February of 2020 just before the Pandemic. I was approached by one of the Board Members in the fall of 2020 and was asked if I would be interested in applying for the Secretary Position for the Creative Hub 1352, which I did, and was welcomed to the Creative Hub board in November 2020 in this capacity.

I enjoy working in this capacity as I feel that the Creative Hub 1352 will bring many exciting programs and activities that are housed in the Small Arms Building. A building whose walls contain so much history to Mississauga as well as the surrounding GTA. It is very exciting being part of the Creative Hub that will provide an exciting space for individuals to connect, collaborate, and create within the building.
