    Join us for Rachael Speirs' artist talk in which she shares her creative process and the inspirations behind her artistic practice. Speirs will discuss her relationship to fabric as the primary material used in her work and her approach to collage making.

    This collage workshop is based on the tearing paper techniques used by Lee Krasner, the famous abstract expressionist painter. Participants will be given prompts and guided on intuitive composition creation. Texture, colour and layering are the main elements explored in this workshop.
