Small Arms Inspection Building

Looking for a creative experience that goes beyond a one-day workshop?

Join us at the Small Arms Inspection Building for a series of immersive, artist-led programs designed to help you explore new creative practices, build lasting skills, and connect with a community of makers.

Whether you're an experienced artist, a curious beginner, or simply looking to try something new, our Summer Multi-Session Series offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and grow.

Throughout the season, participants can choose from a range of hands-on programs exploring contemporary craft, sustainable making, community art, and creative skill-building. Learn techniques in fibre arts, weaving, quilting, repair and reuse practices, public art, and more while working directly alongside professional artists and cultural practitioners.

Unlike a traditional workshop, these multi-session experiences allow participants to dive deeper into their practice over time. Develop confidence with new materials and techniques, collaborate with fellow participants, contribute to collective creative projects, and leave with both new skills and meaningful connections.

Featured programs include contemporary craft studios, repair and upcycling workshops, and a public art and mural-making intensive.

Whether you're looking to learn something new, reconnect with your creativity, or become part of a creative community, there's a place for you here!
